Molinia caerulea 'Edith Dudszus' - Moor Grass

Molinias grow quite well in full sun when ample water is provided. Grown in shade, the colour is darker green and is less dependent on regular watering.

'Edith Dudszus' is a superior selection with a clear separation between the flowers and foliage. It also turns a nice yellow in the fall.

The trick to growing Molinias well is to provide enough light to favour a good crop of flowers while avoiding deep shade.
