| Carex muskingumensis 'Ice Fountains'
          - Variegated Palm Sedge Being so easy to control, C. Ice Fountains will easily
fit into a mixed perennial border. It is also well-suited
for the edge of the pond, where it can colonize, or it can
even be grown right in shallow water. With its love of water,
it would also make a good understory for willows such as
                      S. Aquatica Gigantea Korso. The variegation is not as distinct as its close relative
                      Carex muskingumensis 'Oehme',
however the dappled light through its leaves creates a pleasant
