Spodiopogon sibiricus - Graybeard Grass

A perfect combination with hostas and ferns, but when massed it is one of the most beautiful of all grasses. Showy in any season, and especially so in late summer when the wine-tinged blossoms are at their peak. Slower growing than most other grasses.
