| Poa chaixii - Forest
Bluegrass, Broad-leaved Meadow Grass A beautiful woodland grass from central Europe. The foliage
emerges folded and then opens flat. The shiny light green
leaves look almost irridescent. In the right locations and
with deep rich soil, the 20" long foliage can look
quite tropical. It is particularly attractive when in bloom with flowers
that can reach a meter (40") or more in height. This plant is a grass for shade or semi-shade and may need
extra water during the driest time of the year.
